Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa - Nago

The location was perfect for exploring the north of Okinawa, and the fine ocean views from my spacious balcony were a highlight. The breakfast buffet was a treat with both Western and Japanese options, and I loved trying out the local morning market for unique snacks. Plus, the private beach was a nice escape!

Luxurious and surprisingly large room available with the balcony, a safe and a truly great view. Great and amazing location, 15 minutes' walk to Busena Marine Park.

The rooms were luxurious and huge, included a balcony and a sitting area. There was a rain shower too. All the staff was very helpful and incredibly attentive, tackled my issues. Location: the hotel was adjacent to Aeon shopping center, and all outlets. Had lunch/dinner at Bbq Garden Chi, which I found relatively close to the property...

The variety of dining options was fantastic, especially breakfast with both Japanese and Western cuisines. Our ocean view room was spacious, and my kids loved the expansive pools, including the slides. We also appreciated the heated indoor pool, ideal for our family.

My wife says that the communication with staff could improve.

The hotel has a grand design and the room was luxurious and comfortable. They have thought of everything when they provided the facilities in the room. The hotel staff were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. The restaurants provided good food as well.

They could've perhaps improved the staff's English to provide even better service. Though the restaurants provided good food the prices tend to be on the expensive side.

The breakfast buffet featured an really good variety, blending traditional Japanese dishes with Western favorites, setting a good tone for the day.

The hotel's location is somewhat remote. If you don't have a car, it can be quite a trek to nearby dining and shopping areas, especially with the shuttle bus running only once an hour.

The view from the top floor was great, we loved to be seated by the window and watch the sea.

The restaurants were fully booked over Holiday, very difficult to book a table, if you don't have a car, you have to take a taxi to nearby restaurants, at least 500yan, and not many choices nearby.

I was actually surprised by the value I received for my money; the upgraded room was fine with amazing views.

Breakfast selection could use a few more unique dishes.

Great Business Stay at the Oriental

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa for a business trip, as chosen by my director. Despite arriving after a long flight from Europe with my four-month-old baby, the hotel made our transition to local time a lot smoother. I was initially uneasy about the hotel’s location being far from the beach, but it turned out to be a short 10-minute walk, and the stunning views from the hilltop were a good surprise. Each morning, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast buffet that offered a mix of local and Japanese favorites, which was a real treat. As an Ambassador Bonvoy member, I appreciated being upgraded to a room on one of the highest floors, providing us with fantastic vistas.

The spacious room featured a fine ocean view that added serenity to our stay. The heated outdoor pool was a good retreat, especially during the cooler evenings. I appreciated the shuttle service, made access to nearby sights convenient. Watching the sunset from our room was a highlight of our visit.

The dining area felt crowded at peak times, which detracted from the dining experience.

Staff friendliness was great, but the food variety felt repetitive after several days.

The oriental hotel okinawa resort & spa was a fantastic choice for our family getaway. We loved the spacious adjoining rooms with comfortable king single beds. The pools were amazing, especially with heated options and fine ocean views. Breakfast was enjoyable, particularly the mini burgers, and the amenities were always accessible when we needed them.

The hotel is located near a fascinating underwater observatory, which I highly recommend visiting. The surrounding rural area felt serene with beautiful views, and I appreciated the spaciousness of the rooms.

The shuttle bus service only runs once an hour, which can be inconvenient during busy times.
